in Shirley, Surrey close to Croydon, this friendly and competitive club
offers superb on and off green facilities for both new and experienced
bowlers alike. The club provides a manicured full size 6-rink sea washed
Cumberland Turf green, open to playing between May and September (inclusive)
each year. The club was originally formed in 1928. |

The policy of the club is to continuously improve facilities. There is adequate car parking space to accommodate all members and visitors. The club has vacancies for new members whether they be beginners or experienced bowlers. Membership fees are very competitive; £10 for Social Members and Full Playing membership is £110 for men and £80 for ladies. The green is open to members during the bowling season, and there is no charge for use of the green for members. New members of all ages are very welcome, and the club has a strong Coaching staff who will quickly guide you to becoming an accomplished player. |
Complementing the green is a clubhouse with panoramic views from the lounge and bar area. During the winter months, the clubhouse is open for indoor entertainment. |
